I've managed to survive WITHOUT ELECTRICITY for the last 4 days! Amazingly, it wasn't that bad as everyone made it seem. I actually kinda enjoyed it. Yup, living like back in the old days except I had running water. If you know me, you'd know that I have a pet peeve when it comes to bathrooms and not having flushing water around. I can live without electricity, but I cannot live without clean running water! If you want me to go anywhere with you, it's fine with me as long as there's flushing toilets and clean water to wash my hands.
Summer is almost over! :( Three months of summer vacation sure fly by fast! It has been such a great summer full of relaxing, being lazy, and just plain old hanging out with friends. I know I won't have that luxury once work starts. My most memorable attraction this summer? Our random drive to Hearst Castle. It was just soooo unplanned. But I loved every minute of it. :) Sadly, the last attraction for me this summer would have to be WaterWorld this weekend. Then after that, I have a few more free days before I start work for one day then head off to Greece. Which reminds me... I won't get to celebrate the Moon Festival again this year! =[ It's okay, my mama's already saving me some. ^_^ I seriously miss the ice cream moon cakes from HK. They were so tasty, until I got sick of them and persuaded Long to buy the rest off of me. I miss the HK crew *sigh* Hopefully we can have a reunion soon....
In other news, I have found a new lover! His name is Vinnie and he is just so damn adorable! He likes to jump onto my bed at night and cuddle with me until morning =) Here he is being traumatized after I forced that jersey on him hahaha
He's a little over 2 months old and is quite the talker ^_^ I love how he allows me to hold him on his back just like a real baby and sleep like that for hours on end! And yes, if you haven't noticed, I finally got over my lifelong fear of animals thanks to Hang's kitty Summer. A photo of her is on my Myspace (which you should log onto MICHELLE)! Okay, it's 1:44AM. Sleep time!
I can't believe it... 2 more weeks and then it's finals and graduation. Four years sure fly by so quickly! I still have 3 group projects to do that's been taking up so so much of my time. So much time that I didn't even get the chance to renew my passport yet =( Having this 3 day weekend was great, but still not enough time. I'm excited about graduating but scared at the same time... >.< OMG I wrote "time" 4 times already! Now it's 5!
P.S. On Ngoc's request, I will post up pictures of my adorable sweet smelling Doughboy when I get the chance... uhhh give me a few weeks :)
I don't think I'll be getting my authentic Pillsbury Doughboy plush in the mail anymore. It's been five weeks already and the damn company hasn't even cashed out my check yet. This is what I get for mailing the offer form on very last day of the offer. Oh well....
In other depressing news, some people change too quickly and unexpectedly.
UPDATE OMG THEY CASHED OUT MY CHECK! ON 6/5/07!!! OVER A MONTH AFTER I SENT THEM THE DAMN ORDER FORM. THEY BETTER SEND ME MY DOUGHBOY OR ELSE IMMA BE SOOOOO F MAD! This made my day I caaaaan't wait! Will show pics once I get it! ^_^
